Kittens And Tea - The Current Face Of Alternative Music? (Updated)

The Huffington Post reports that Anderson Cooper is not a fan of Billy's recent appearance on the cover of pet magazine Paws Chicago. Apparently, this isn't an "alternative rock" enough of an image for the reporter, and his expectations have been defied. Ironically, defying expectations is something A. Coop has been known for, as he recently came out as one of the first openly gay news reporters with a headline television program. He oughta know better.

If you ask me, Cooper doesn't know what he's talking about - appearing on the cover of Paws magazine, smiling, happy, with two adorable kittens is probably one of the most "alternative" things Billy Corgan could have done - as well as owning a tea shop, for that matter.

Per an Alternative Nation article, Billy has tweeted his direct response to the reporter.

Billy Tweets: "Sorry to disappoint, but when I'm not raising cain for a great organization like @PAWSchicago, I'm still making REAL music" and then "I realize you're too busy being a globalist shill to know the difference, but there are those of us who do as we like"

This is starting to play out like a Resistance Pro story-line.
